The centre of Pateley Bridge is just moments away, with a range of interesting shops and pubs. Enjoy exploring quaint alleyways and yards and browse the quirky shops or walk alongside the River Nidd which runs behind the cottage. Visit the natural spectacle of the National Trust’s Brimham Rocks, with its giant rock formations, while Fountains Abbey showcases the ruins of a medieval abbey, surrounded by 18th century landscaped gardens. Visit the nearby cathedral city of Ripon where you can visit Ripon Spa Baths and the adjacent spa gardens. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with over 680 miles square miles of rolling countryside, scenic dales and charming villages to be discovered, while the spa town of Harrogate is around a 15-mile drive away.

Four steps lead you down to the front door where a welcoming hallway continues to the spacious and light-filled living space incorporating kitchen/dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows and bespoke built-in seating makes this a great space for all the family to socialise. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher and, moving through to the utility room, you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer. Cosy up in the snug with wood burner, Smart TV and sound bar, perfect for watching films on a winter’s night, or relax in the small lounge across the hall. On the ground floor, you will also find a King-size bedroom with a (zip-and-link) and separate shower room with WC. Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms including a spacious Super king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower room with WC, and two double bedrooms. Completing the property is the family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Double doors from the main living space lead out onto a decked area with plenty of seating to relax and listen to the sound of the river flowing by.

A lawned garden wraps around the property with enough space for families of all ages to enjoy. It is the perfect setting to delight in a BBQ and take in the peaceful surroundings. There is off-road parking for four cars.
