Ainderby Steeple is a sleepy village on the outskirts of Northallerton. This thriving town boasts market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the high street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce. Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the unique Forbidden Corner at Middleham, a trip to a country house such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall and Castle Howard, or a round of golf. The quaint town of Bedale is just 6 miles away, the cobbled streets are lined with independent shops. Take home some delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th-century church or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale railway.

This sweet, newly renovated cottage rests beside the owner's home and smallholding, in this delightful part of North Yorkshire. Ideally suited for a family or couples, this property boasts bright and refreshing decor, while from the outside keeping its country charm. Step inside to the stylish kitchen featuring lots of fitted units and integrated appliances including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, cook a delicious meal while your group sits around the table comfortably seating four. Head through to the very cosy lounge with two large plush sofas facing a TV and wood burner-effect electric fire for when a quiet evening of home entertainment is on the cards. Just off the lounge is a ground-floor bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable king-size bed; there is plenty of space for storing clothes and bags too. The second bedroom is accessed upstairs which has another king-size bed. The luxurious bathroom is up a different staircase via the kitchen and the ground-floor WC. Start the day with an energising shower in the shower cubicle with a seat or sink into the roll-top bath for a nice warm bath after a long day of walking.

Take your morning coffee outside and enjoy the sound of the birds singing from the private summerhouse, or light a BBQ and dine with your group on the patio as you watch the sun disappear for the evening. Off-street parking for two cars is provided.
