Kettlewell is home to dramatic landscapes and charming village pubs, as well as some of the best walks and cycle routes in the country. Take a stroll along the River Wharfe, located across from the cottage, and explore the many quintessential Dales villages that lie along its banks. For avid walkers, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is also within easy reach. Spend a day exploring the popular market town of Skipton and its historic castle or visit the spectacular Malham Cove, both 14 miles away. This superb, wonderfully-styled converted barn is in a most enviable location, with lovely views of the surrounding fells, and the perfect getaway in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Be welcomed into a spacious entrance hall where you will find a handy area to hang coats, dog leads and wellies. On the ground floor, you will find two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin, both of which are serviced by a downstairs bathroom. The main attraction of this house is the upper living space with a gorgeously cosy lounge with open oak beamed ceilings and a wood burner at its heart – stoke the fire and relax back on the cushy seating whilst choosing a film to watch on the Smart TV. Across the hallway is a fully equipped kitchen, where a central island with a breakfast bar is a great spot to perch whilst the cook rustles up a home-cooked feast. Gather around for breakfast and lunches or, for a more formal meal, head downstairs to the stunning dining room with a large dining table with stylish chairs. The other two bedrooms are just off the lounge; a king-size room with a Smart TV and a super-king size bedroom which boasts a private balcony where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee admiring the fells. There is also a second bathroom on this level. For the ultimate games night, head out to the garden and discover a fantastic games room complete with multi games table consisting of table tennis, snooker and air hockey, a full-sized bar with a wine/beer cooler that is excellent for entertaining and a Smart TV – on chilly evenings light the wood burner for extra atmosphere.
The garden is fully enclosed with a large patio with an outdoor dining set and a charcoal BBQ. There is a garage to the side of the property which is ideal for storing bikes.
