Wonderful, cozy property, clean, well furnished and centrally located. The use of the golf cart, bikes, pool and floats were an added bonus. Perfect space for single or couple (maybe with a small child too). Great support from property management when we had questions/needed extra assistance. Will plan to return :)

Cozy and convenient, perfect location to all the island has to offer. Pool is awesome, lush landscaping is beautiful. Having a golf cart, bikes, access to paddle boards, kayaks and beach amenities is ideal. Great stay.

Weekend at the beach

Spent the weekend in Anna Maria island on the front end of a work trip and this place made it worth it. All of the amenities you need plus a perfect location.

Perfect getaway

Great little place. Nicely updated, very clean, great location. Loved having golf cart included. The pool was wonderful, private, very pretty and lots of patio furniture. Really enjoyed our first stay ion AMI.

Excellent location

My husband and I enjoyed our first ever winter visit to AMI at the Mahi-Mahi. The unit is small, but had everything we needed for the the two of us, plus an incredible (heated!) pool. Loved the location and the "Old Florida" feel. The detailed instructions and "guide to the area" printouts were also quite helpful!. We are hoping to return next year.

Fabulous mother/daughter get away

My teenage daughter and I take a yearly trip together while my husband and three sons go on a trip with friends. Cottage #1 was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the location near Bean Point. The golf carts and bicycles were a fun way to see the island! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Little Cottage

Our small family of 3 really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was clean and had great amenities such as the bikes, golf cart, kayaks, paddleboards, and everything else you would need for your short ride to the beach! If you don't feel like heading to the beach the pool will not disappoint. Great communication with the owner & property management.

small but comfortable

We had a great time. The room was very tiny -- bathroom very tiny and dated, Bedroom very tiny but it was decorated cute and the other amenities made up for it being small. The pool was beautiful and we had it completely to ourselves. The golf cart was fun and the location good. The kitchen was small but it had what we needed and it all worked out just fine.

Hello Lynne, Thank you for your review and feedback. We do advertise our cottages as Old Florida Charm cottages/bungalows from the 1950’s. We are one of the few remaining original properties on Anna Maria Island that still can provide that Old Florida charm that vacationers desire. Our cottages were entirely gutted and renovated in late 2017 including all new flooring, all new kitchens, all new appliances, and bathrooms were gutted as well. The bathrooms and fixtures are brand new including the vanity, toilet, sink, shower, and fixture. I understand how you could misconstrue the bathroom as being dated, but it is actully all new tile and fixtures and a lot of time, thought, and effort was put into designing the bathrooms, kitchen, and entire cottage as being new yet still providing that Old Florida Charm that we have been known for over the years. Our 5 star average reviews speak for themselves and we are not offended by your review at all. We welcome the feedback and sincerely appreciate your review, but did feel the need to explain the atmosphere we diligently try to create for all of our guests. As you mentioned, the pool and pool area is brand new as well and we are one of the few hotels that provide a street legal golf cart with every stay and also paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles, and beach equipment at no extra cost. We hope you can stay with us again in the future and next time we could place you in our largest cottage (THE SAILFISH) which is larger and roomier and has two full bathrooms.

The cottage was adorable. It had everything that we needed. It was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be but we were only there for 4 days so it worked out. We spent a great deal of time in the pool are and got to know our neighbors. It was awesome to have a golf cart which we def utilized and a Washer/dryer. Location was really great!

Very happy!

Place was very cute and easy to find. Check in instructions and contact with property mgr went very smooth. Place was well cleaned, however I gave it 4 stars bc the mattress on the pull out couch looked gross. Overall, bathroom has been updated and was clean. The amenities were GREAT! Having the golf cart to zip around was perfect. The pool was very clean and had everything you could want or need. Location is amazing- short walk to the beach!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage to celebrate our 15yr anniversary. We got a little worried when we read some of the reviews, but honestly I am not sure how those experiences were different from ours ... because ours was AMAZING! Dan was speedy in checking us in, showing us around and getting us sorted with the golf cart. He was super friendly and easy to chat with. Now the cottage. It was charming and wonderful! it had everything we needed - it was clean, great decor and the bed comfy. We had everything we needed and loved our time there. We were also very happy at how insulated it was, and we could not hear road traffic etc. The surrounding property was awesome to. The highlight is the pool. We literally lived in it, as we like the beach, but LOVE the pool. The pool and pool area was clean, had great floaties, and the umbrella/table in the pool along with the sitting areas was fantastic! Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this spot. It is an easy walk or golf drive to Pine Ave, and quick walk to Bean point where we watched the sunsets. Thank you to James and Dan.

Such a fun place to explore!

Great quiet location. Got around on the golf cart and the bikes. The manager was great and was very responsive to our requests. They should offer to let us pay 15$ instead of have to drive the golf cart to the Shell station and hold up traffic. There was no room anywhere to put our clothes so had our suitcases in the living room. Not a problem though because we were outside most of the time. There was one cockroach in the bedroom on our last night. Overall it was great! Thank you for your hospitality!

Cute Oasis

The cottage is in a perfect location! walking distance to both Gulf side and Tampa Bay side! We loved watching the sunsets at Bean Point. The cottage overall served it's purpose for us, to lay our heads at night. Although recently updated, the bathroom tile was simply painted and the paint is all peeling in the shower. A lot of the paint in the interior (door frames, base boards) is also heavily chipped throughout. The window blinds are all broken/bent. There are curtains also hanging but to replace the window blinds as a very inexpensive fix and would help with the aesthetic viewing from outside of cottage too. The shared laundry, bikes, pool, golf cart and paddle boards/kayaks were an awesome amenity to have! Several beach chairs and both beach umbrellas were broken and we didn't realize until we got to the beach, so that was a bummer. The cottage was truly a perfect location and has tremendous potential if lots of little items were fixed/remedied.
