Here on Hvaler, you can wake up to birdsong and enjoy the morning on the terrace overlooking the archipelago. The cabin is situated on a natural plot with cliffs, heather, and a flower meadow—just 70 meters from the sea. Thanks to its west-facing location, you’ll get sun from morning to evening, and there’s always a cozy spot, no matter which way the wind blows.



The cabin has room for both family and friends and is furnished to provide a relaxing base from which to explore the area. The best way to spend the long, light evenings is on the terrace with a barbecue and good company.



The property extends down to a small cove, which you share with your neighbors. Here, three kayaks are available for trips through the archipelago. In late summer and fall, you can pick mushrooms and berries in the surrounding area.



Edholmen Marina is just a five-minute walk away, featuring a restaurant, pub, and grocery store. Take the ferry from Skjærhalden to go island hopping, visit the Makø summer café on Sandøy, or drive 40 minutes to Fredrikstad and Gamlebyen. Coastal trails and wooded areas offer wonderful walks or bike rides.
