Three years ago, we made the decision to leave London behind and move to West Hollowcombe Farm in search of a different pace of life. Nestled in a hidden valley on Exmoor, we instantly fell in love with the breathtaking views, ancient woodland, rolling hills and the crystal-clear waters of the Dane's Brook that winds through the land.

Since moving here, we've enjoyed caring for this special place and continuing to improve the traditional stone cottages, preserving their character while ensuring they offer all the comforts guests need for a relaxing stay. We've also invested in the shared spaces around the farm, creating an environment where families and friends can spend quality time together.

What we love most about West Hollowcombe is the sense of escape it offers. From the moment you arrive, life seems to slow down. Children can explore the woods and playground, guests can relax in the hot tub beneath the stars, and walkers, riders and nature lovers can step straight from the doorstep onto Exmoor's spectacular landscapes.

As we live on site, we're always nearby if you need anything during your stay, while still giving guests plenty of space and privacy to enjoy the farm at their own pace. We feel incredibly fortunate to call West Hollowcombe home and hope that when you visit, you'll experience the same sense of peace, adventure and connection that inspired us to make the move here.

Unlike many holiday properties, you can step straight from your door onto Exmoor's network of footpaths, bridleways and open moorland without needing to get in the car. Whether you're walking, horse riding, wildlife spotting or simply seeking peace and quiet, the landscape is right on your doorstep.

Families love the freedom the farm offers, with a playground, woodland to explore and plenty of open space for children to enjoy. Groups and celebrations benefit from the ability to book multiple cottages together, with exclusive use of shared outdoor spaces, patios and hot tubs.

Despite its secluded setting, West Hollowcombe is easily accessible from Bristol and London, making it an ideal escape from city life without a long journey.
