Easy check in. Room was ready early. The room was beautiful! Lovely view and spacious enough for us to relax when we were resting in the room, which is not often at the gorgeous Fontainblu!! Such a fun resort! Look forward to staying there again soon!

The hotel booked multiple large group events while we were there, making access to the pool impossible. We did get chairs on one of the days, but it was in the shade and we were left listening to competing event DJs. Not exactly relaxing. The hotel left space in the sun open so they could set up for a party later on. The beach was better, but not much. There was a shortage of chairs because one of the corporate events reserved hundreds of chairs. We were told our 35 resort fee only gave us access “complimentary” chairs, not that any would actually be available. After waiting 30 minutes we were able to get seated. Everyone who served us was nice, it’s just that they could only do so much when every inch of the hotel has “private event” signs.The hotel room was nice, but I don’t think I’d stay at this resort again. Overall a frustrated by the lack of access to most of the resort.

Overall stay was great. The room had everything we expected and worked for us well. The only issue was with our room keys. We had to get them reactivated daily which was a bit annoying with a very light front desk staff.

Great vacation at the Fontainebleau

We had a great stay at the Fontainebleau. Our unit was perfect-clean and with a nice view. The host were also really communicative and responded quickly to any needs we had. Check in was seamless and the resort itself is fantastic with a great pool and right on the beach. We would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great beachside vacation!

Fountainbleau has lost a lot of luster, very pedestrian. Unit was okay, could not enjoy the outdoor (balcony) due to the ambient noise. Bed seemed well used, linens were utilitarian.

Nice property

The hotel is lively and fun. All the restaurants are great. Check in and check out was not so great. One person only at desk and a line of people waiting. Checking out was no better and almost missed our flight because had to wait in line to check out. I even asked if I could just leave or had to check out and she said I had to check out. That took over twenty minutes to do. There is an express kioskfor checking out but said it could not find my reservation. Also sink water pressure is low but room was nice and hotel is fantastic.

MAJOR SECURITY FAIL

The front desk printed a key to my room for a man who I had met once and was not listed on my reservation! At 2:30am! Without even calling to my room and asking if I knew him or if it was ok! I had met him the night before and we planned to meet at the lobby bar after he finished work. He kept pushing the time back, I got sick of waiting so at 11pm I turned my phone on silent and went to sleep. At 2:30am I was woken up by him knocking at the door and I could hear the door being opened and hitting the deadbolt. When I confirmed it was him, I went ahead and opened the door. But was very unsettled with the idea that the hotel printed a key for someone who wasn’t on my reservation. When I contacted the owner on Vrbo they apologized and said that they would contact hotel security and get back to me. And that they have very strict rules about not giving keys to anyone not listed on the reservation. They gave me the run around for over a week before finally saying that the hotel denied it and said that their staff wouldn’t do that. (Head of Security denied telling this to the Vrbo owner). I immediately contacted the head of hotel security. He was able to verify my story through video footage. As well as verify through the computer system that the man was issued a key at 2:30am and then used it on my door. Once I had that proof, I then asked the Vrbo owner for a credit or refund. They responded that since I let him in and then hung out with him at the pool the next day….they take no responsibility for the hotel giving him access to my room in the middle of the night without my permission. Thankfully, the man I met was a nice person and nothing happened to me. But it still scares me to think that any man who had my first name could have talked his way to getting a key to my room. The location is beautiful and I’m really sad that I’m having to boycott it now. But if you do stay there…I highly suggest asking the front desk to add a note to your reservation stating to not print a key for anyone who is not listed on your reservation!

We are very concerned about these claims. In the thousands of rentals that we have hosted over several years, we have never experienced a security breach. According to this guest, she met a man that she did not know one night, then decided not to hang out with him the next night and then she stated he showed up to her room with a key. She never called security at the time and actually let the man stay overnight in her room. She reached out to us regarding the incident and continually claimed she wanted a refund or credit to return and stay again at our facility. Our staff spent several days trying to research her story including an investigation by condo operations and review of video footage by the head of security. The video footage shows the guest at the front desk with the man. We did our outmost best in researching these claims to no avail. We have never experienced this as a host. No one is allowed to be given a room key unless their name is specifically on the reservation. This request also needs to be documented through the owner reservation portal. We have had many wonderful reviews about the property and location, and again, have never had a security breach. There is security on-site available 24 hours a day if anyone needs assistance.

Beautiful location, easy check in

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. Check in was slightly delayed but the hotel was kind enough to let us use the amenities while we waited for the room to be fully cleaned. It was a beautiful room. Clean sheets and clean bathroom. Nice soaking tub. Beautiful balcony with a view. I’m very pleased and def will return!
