Relax and unwind at this unforgettable riverside escape. Our beautifully presented wide beam dutch barge offers spacious accommodation with two double en-suite bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen and outside sun deck.

Located a short walk from the charming riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn and a short drive to picturesque Malvern and the Malvern Hills. Lovely riverside walks to nearby village pubs.

Lots to do on the river including canoeing, paddle boarding and fishing off the private mooring.

The space
The house boat is on a private mooring on the banks of the river Severn. Access is via a boardwalk and gangway which leads to the mooring. There is parking for up to two vehicles in a private carpark.

The accommodation is split over two levels. You enter the boat into the wheelhouse which has bench seating and a dining table for four people. The wheelhouse is fully glazed and offers a great space for dining with lovely river views.

Leading down steps is the open plan sitting room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking facilities, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The sitting area has a comfortable sofa and smart TV. This room has a log burner and logs are provided for colder evenings.

The bedrooms are either end of the boat, both have en-suite shower rooms. The front bedroom has a king size bed, the rear bedroom a double bed, both with good quality mattresses and bed linens. There is clothes storage in both bedrooms.
At the back of the boat is a covered deck area with sofa style seating. The steps are narrow up to the deck area and people with mobility issues may struggle with the steps.
On the private mooring there are two chairs where you can sit and watch the river flow by.

Guest access
You have full use of the boats accommodation and the mooring is private.
Obviously the river can flood particularly from December - March. The mooring and gangway rises and lowers with the flood water and the boardwalk is raised above the ground so access to the boat is unaffected by most floods.
Please note in the unlikely event the boat does come inaccessible due to a really bad flood, as much notice as possible will be given and a full refund issued.

Other things to note
Families are welcome however we recommend small children wear life jackets (provided) when outside of the boat either on the mooring or the deck.
There are two paddles boards available for guest use.
Guests are welcome to fish off the mooring however you will need to bring your own equipment.
We are dog friendly and happy to take up to two dogs. There is an additional fee of £12 per dog per night. This may need to be paid separately to the main booking fee depending on the platform booked on.
