Willkommen bei "Lil Orphan Annie", unserem Ferienhaus in zweiter Reihe, ideal für einen Familienurlaub am Strand (einschließlich Ihrer Hunde).

Dieses Strandhaus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer. Genießen Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee auf einer großen Terrasse mit Meerblick. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, nur wenige Meter vom öffentlichen Zugang zum Strand entfernt, der sich zwei Häuser weiter befindet. Da es keine öffentlichen Strandparkplätze gibt, ist der Strand weniger überfüllt.

Der große, eingezäunte Hinterhof bietet viele Möglichkeiten für eine Familie, um die salzige Luft zu genießen. Das Haus ist ein helles, sauberes, modernes Ferienhaus für 6 Personen mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem Queensize-Bett und zwei Etagenbetten im Schlafraum. Unsere Küche ist mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet, die Sie zum Zubereiten von Mahlzeiten am Strand benötigen (Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mixer, Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirrbecher und mehr).

We haven't been to Topsail in 13 years and this was a fantastic reunion with the island! The beach house had everything we needed and was extremely convenient to get to the beach. We would stay here again!

This condo was beautifully decorated (albeit small) and right across the street from the beach. There is a little tiki bar down the street but otherwise you have to drive to restaurants.

Great stay….cozy little beach house.

Location was awesome! Didn’t mind the short walk to the beach. House was exactly as pictured. Comfy beds, had everything we needed. If we had one complaint, it would be that there’s not full cable TV. But definitely not a deal breaker for us. We would stay at ‘lil orphan Annie’s again.

Happy as a Clam at High Water

We had a great time at Little Orphan Annie on North Topsail Beach. What a relaxing place! The deck was our favorite place to hangout when off the beach. The view and sounds of the ocean were just what we'd hoped for. Beach access was quite convenient and made trips back for drinks and snacks quick and easy. The North end of the island is very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Little Beach House

This property suited our needs well. Beach was just a 3 minute walk away, and we went every day! This is not a regular beach access site, so there is no public parking, but there is also no lifeguard or rip current warnings - make sure to check the surf conditions everyday and watch your kids. Pros: -Outside shower and hose to help keep the sand out of the house -Proximity to beach -Well-working appliances (Washer is TOP load, not front load like the listing says) -Plenty of room for a family of 4 -Pet friendly (even though we didn't bring a pet) -Communication with host - quick responses -Linens and towels were good quality -Not a huge list of things to do a checkout Cons: -Wi-fi wasn't working properly - communicated with host, but it was never resolved - not a big deal for us -No shower caddies, or shelves in shower so we had to put our toiletries on the shower floor -Eating table was sticky - consider bringing a table cloth if you want to use it for board/card games I would recommend this property to anyone who wants close access to the water, and doesn't need a super swanky place to stay!

Could be better, Needs attention.

Acceptable place to stay, but with all the other options available, I would not book again. Location is decent- an easy walk to the beach, the decor is cute and the owner is quick to reply. That said it could use a good refresh - moldy faucet handles, dirty walls, etc. While I could have overlooked the interior, the outside was extremely disappointing - uncut grass up to my knees, I got swarmed with bug bites every time I took my dogs out. In addition to the really long grass, the back yard was filled with pieces of siding strewn about, and the fence is broken. I mentioned this to the owner, and she did mention the hurricane- though, I’m surprised that the siding has been left thrown about several weeks later, and the fence was mentioned by another reviewer a year ago. If you book, be sure to pack garbage bags. I was surprised that the house didn’t have any at all, not even in the (needing a cleaning) garbage can.

Online ad needs updating

We relied on the pictures for accurate info regarding the property. We take exception with the photo of the lot across the street between house and beach. It in no way depicts the real scene which is a walkway overgrown with grass with a large stop sign at the end. ( it is NOT beach access) and the lot contains unsightly debris/ construction items. The piece de la resistance are the enormous sand bags lining the beach at this location which are hideous. The erosion at this area of the beach is so bad the beach is not usable for much of the day. We had to pack up and drive south to get descent beach, and use port a potty’s instead of meandering back and forth from our rental, which is what we expected. Secondly, the house is very tired and grimy. Couches and carpet should be deep cleaned or better yet replaced. On the upside , the knives in the kitchen were in better shape than at most rentals I’ve been in and the linens rental service was great.

its was a nice place & the location was decent. The appliances all worked as well as the water/showers etc. However there were some issues. Whomever is cleaning the location is not doing a good job at all. Your filters are not being changed regularly at all, thee ceiling is black with dust new all of the vents. There was a lot of sand everywhere. I know its the beach but I'm talking about visually being able to see the level of sand under the couch and dinning room table. But at least there is a broom I'm not sure why you have a concrete counter top. There is no was to clean that & its disgusting. You should definitely consider replacing that asap. I suspect that a bleach type of cleaner is being used on the dining room table because it has turned the lacquer sticky and everything sticks to it. There was food wrappers under mattress in the bunkbed room and a lot of sand on the mattress and under the bed. There were only 2 rolls of TP for 4 adults and on child for a week. That is not enough remotely. Another suggestion I have is to put an awning over the door, the door knob gets very hot. it could easily become a hazard. If you are ever able to rebuild the deck to so in the front or even the back on the side it doesn't catch the wind so its just miserable hot on that deck. Also please update your listing there are some things that are not up to date. Like the wi-fi password and there is no grill at least we never could find one. Oh take kids toys down that's a joke.

Nice house, great value

Wanted to spend a long weekend at Topsail with another couple. Our goal was to stay ocean front, but only found duplexes. We did not want a duplex because of our young dog. She barks for a few minutes when we leave the house. We want to be responsible pet owners and not be a bother to anyone else. So.... we were shocked when we pulled up to the address and found out this was a duplex. I passed up some very nice ocean front rentals because they were duplexes and I was very disappointed that it was not disclosed in the description of this house. It ended up being ok, our pup didn’t bark very much, so thankfully it was not an issue. Also, the beach access is not directly across the street as I thought (looks like the boardwalk across the steet is your access- but it’s not). You have to walk a few houses down to the public access. Normally, this would not be an issue, but my husband recently had surgery and had chemo treatments, so our goal was to have close access (that’s why we initially wanted ocean front- to eliminate excess walking for him). The A/C did not work when we got there, but thankfully we were able to open the windows and the weather was perfect without the A/C. The toilet seat in the front bathroom had a cracked toilet seat which made it tricky to use without pinching your rear :). The good things- very nicely decorated and extremely clean. Owner was very responsive, but the A/C and toilet seat were not something that could be fixed immediately. Overall- nice place, good location and easy beach access (but it would be nice to know where it is before renting).

Chris is from Colorado and moved to North Carolina not long ago. I feel in love with the area and so thankfully to call this area home. Growing up I played with horses and did anything outside.

My husband and I have worked very hard to have a little piece of paradise. Which we are glad to share with you. We have two young adventurous boys who love the outdoor life as much as we do.
