Ela's Chic Apartment - Ultracentral, Old Town

Hello and welcome! I am so happy to share my home city of Brașov with you. I was born here, and even though my travels have taken me across the world, nothing compares to the warmth and charm of this beautiful place. Hosting gives me the chance to bring together everything I have learned from staying in lovely apartments, boutique hotels, and unique spaces during my travels - and offer that same feeling of comfort and care to my guests.
I created Ela’s Chic Apartment with the intention of making it feel both stylish and welcoming, a space where you can truly relax. I love adding thoughtful little touches inspired by places I have visited, and seeing guests enjoy the experience is one of my greatest joys.
One of my favourite moments in Brașov is enjoying a quiet morning coffee in Piața Sfatului while watching the city wake up. I hope you will find your own favourite little ritual here as well.

I chose this neighbourhood because, to me, it represents the very best of Brașov. The apartment is located right on Strada Republicii, one of the most charming pedestrian streets in the old town. It is full of life, colour, and character - lined with cafés, wine bars, bakeries, and small local shops that make every walk feel special.
Everything you might want to explore is just a few steps away, from historic landmarks like the Black Church and Piața Sfatului to hidden alleyways and scenic viewpoints. You can stroll through centuries of history and then stop for a cosy drink at a café - all without ever needing a car!
I love this area because it blends the energy of the city with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are here for sightseeing, dining out, or simply soaking in the beauty of Brașov’s old town, this neighbourhood puts you right at the heart of it all.

Guests often tell me it feels like a true home away from home, and that means so much to me.
One of the highlights is the balcony, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and rooftops - a peaceful spot to start your day with a coffee or unwind in the evening. The layout also works wonderfully for couples, families, or small groups, with a separate bedroom featuring a large double bed and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom includes soft bathrobes and toiletries, and the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay - from a washing machine to fast WiFi and a cosy living area. Every detail has been carefully chosen to make your stay easy, enjoyable, and memorable.
