There are some fabulous National Trust Properties in the vicinity such as Croft Castle, with its working walled garden and 1500 acres of parkland, or Berrington Hall boasting Capability Brown landscaped gardens and a Henry Holland villa, both of which are accessed via a scenic drive through the Black and White villages and cider country of Herefordshire. Alternatively enjoy a trip to Powis Castle, stopping off at Kerry Vale Vineyard? Enjoy watching red kites, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, rally driving, or one of the many day courses available in the thriving local crafts scene- blacksmithing, glass blowing, wood turning and many more- all available locally.
