Old Duffus Farmhouse, sleeping 8, is a detached stone farmhouse with unrivalled views across to the ruins of Duffus Castle. This spacious yet homely property is perfect for families or larger groups.. Ground Floor:

With unrivalled views across to the ruins of Duffus Castle this spacious yet homely property is surrounded by open fields and is the ideal place to retreat to and relax. Built in the early 1800s and part of the historic estate, this traditional property has a wood burner for keeping cosy in the living room complete with complimentary logs from the Estate. The kitchen has a large wooden table – great for those long, lazy dinners socialising with family or friends. Three of the four bedrooms, along with the living room all benefit from those unbeatable views of Duffus Castle. The two double bedrooms on the ground floor and two twin bedrooms on the first floor all have cool, crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen. Both bathrooms are situated on the ground floor, therefore making it easier for those with limited mobility. The shower room and the family bathroom have both been renovated to a high standard with walk in showers and there is beautiful roll top bath ideal for relaxing in after a day exploring, both rooms have thick, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels to wrap yourself in after a long soak and locally sourced quality toiletries. Upstairs also has a wee snug – great for the kids.
The property has a private garden with BBQ and Fire Bowl for those summer evenings spending time outside with friends and family, enjoying all that this wonderful property has to offer with spectacular castle views or a stroll through the castle ruins whilst the sun sets across fields of golden barley.
