Summary:

Tystie Cottage is a lovely two-bedroom retreat in the coastal village of Salthouse. Famous for its picturesque shingle beach and saltmarshes, it’s a perfect place to explore the North Norfolk coast and enjoy a coastal escape. Ideal for couples or families, Tystie Cottage sleeps up to four guests and is dog friendly.



The Space:

The open-plan ground floor includes a spacious kitchen, dining area, and cosy living room. The lounge offers plenty of seating and access to the courtyard patio.



The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and kettle, plus ample surface space for meal prep. A dining table comfortably seats all guests.



Upstairs are two well-appointed bedrooms—a double and a twin with two single beds.



The family bathroom is located between the two bedrooms, featuring an electric shower, bath, toilet, and sink.



The rear patio courtyard, accessible via French doors in the lounge, has outdoor seating for four guests.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Salthouse, famous for its salt marshes and scenic coastal views, is a picturesque village located in North Norfolk, near the more prominent town of Holt.



Whether you are a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a seaside escape, it is the ideal location for birdwatching or sightseeing.



Just a short drive away, Blakeney Point is perfect for a family trip, offering a memorable experience of seal watching, with tours running daily.



North Norfolk boasts a variety of attractions, including art galleries, craft shops, and more. The lively seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham, known for their traditional charm and sandy beaches, are only a few miles away.



Make sure to catch the North Norfolk Railway up to Sheringham and experience some of Norfolk’s finest views from a classic steam engine.



Ideal for walkers, cyclists, and birdwatchers, the nearby salt marshes and Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre offer amazing panoramic views.



Getting Around:

Salthouse is easily accessible by car from Holt and other nearby towns.



The Poppy Line, operated by the North Norfolk Railway, is a heritage railway that runs between Sheringham and Holt, offering scenic views of the countryside.



Walking and cycling are also good ways to explore the stunning landscapes and coastal views of the village.
