The region is known for its pristine beaches, relaxed lifestyle, and excellent local gastronomy. Within a short drive, you can reach the famous beaches of Comporta and Carvalhal, explore traditional villages, or enjoy long walks and bike rides through rice fields and coastal dunes.
Local shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and cafés are easily accessible in nearby villages, making everyday essentials convenient while still preserving a sense of seclusion and calm. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore the natural beauty of the area, this location offers space, serenity, and an authentic Alentejo experience, just over an hour from Lisbon.

Due to the limited public transportation options in the area, we highly recommend having a car.

The drive from Lisbon Airport to Comporta typically takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Here’s the easiest route:
Exit Lisbon Airport and follow signs for the A2 South / Ponte 25 de Abril.
Cross the 25 de Abril Bridge and continue on the A2 highway toward the Algarve / Sines / Setúbal.
Keep right to stay on the A2 and follow signs for Sines / Grândola.
Take the exit toward Grândola / Carvalhal.
Continue on the N261 and follow local roads toward Carvalhal.
Once in Carvalhal, follow the signs to Rua da Encosta.
Free parking is available on-site.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 12:00 and check-out must be done until 10:00(am). Before leaving, please place the keys inside the lockbox. Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
