Carnglaze Caverns offers an atmospheric subterranean experience whilst the Minions is amongst some of the highest moorland, with stunning vistas and where crumbling engine houses whisper tales of a once-thriving mining past.
When the coast calls, the charming fishing ports of Looe and Polperro are just a short drive away, once infamous for tales of smuggling in the moonlit night. Golden beaches and the dramatic cliffs of Whitsand Bay, Downderry, and Seaton await discovery, whilst the world-renowned Eden Project, historic Charlestown and Lost Gardens of Heligan are all within a short drive.
The ancient stannary town of Liskeard is worth exploring and where you can hop on a train towards St Austell on the beautiful Looe Valley Line or head east towards Plymouth, the historical naval city with it’s vibrant waterfront, full of bars, restaurants and pubs. Beach 10 miles.
