Orange Apartment-Ancient country house fenced garden, pets allowed

Masseria del Ponte is hosted in an ancient stone house located just outside Pretoro, a small village among the most beautiful in Italy, right before the entrance of the Majella National Park. Completely renovated in 2012, it has welcomed travelers within its walls for several years: it is the ideal place to discover Abruzzo, immersed in the nature and quiet of the Park, just few steps away from the peaks and a short drive far from the coast. The Masseria consists of two independent apartments, each with its own private entrance and shared fenced garden, with a barbecue area available to guests. Both apartments consist of a living area-kitchen with fireplace, sofa, and TV; an entrance hall with stairs leading to the upper floor; at the first floor we find the bedroom. The Orange is the smaller apartment, measuring 45 square meters, the bedroom has a double bed (maximum occupancy: 2 guests); the bathroom is located at the ground floor. A crib can be added to both apartments upon request; furthermore, the sofas in the living areas convert to queen-size beds, allowing us to host one or two additional guests in each apartment (for rates and additional costs, please send us a message before booking!). The Masseria's garden is fenced, and we happily welcome dogs, but only upon request and approval! In fact, unless you're occupying both apartments, the garden is shared, and we must check for the presence of other pets before accepting additional ones. So please, don't forget to contact us before booking if you'd like to bring your dog!
Masseria del Ponte is just 17 km far from Passolanciano-Maielletta ski resort and 36 km far from Pescara Airport. The village of Pretoro is the perfect base for skiing on the Maiella, hiking the countless trails that branch out into the park, just a stone's throw from our Masseria, and even exploring coastal Abruzzo in the summer, returning to a cool place to have a good sleep away from the summer chaos of the cities. The center of Pretoro is just a few minutes' drive from Masseria del Ponte; in the small town you'll find a well-stocked grocery store, an excellent butcher and a pharmacy, as well as several restaurants, bars, and a craft brewery. In Fara Filiorum Petri, just 3 km away, there are also several grocery stores, other restaurants, and a small cheese producer.
