Nature lovers will want to wander just 0.5 miles to the Inverness Botanic Gardens, Whin Park and the River Ness or take a wildlife-watching trip out on the Moray Firth, in the hope of spotting dolphins. Those who enjoy a round or two will find themselves less than 1 mile from the 18-hole Kings Golf Club, while hikers may wish to venture 22 miles to the fringes of the magnificent Cairngorms National Park with its picturesque footpaths.
