Offering light and relaxing accommodation for up to six guests, this beautiful rural hideaway enjoys a remote Highland location, offering unforgettable scenery and glorious walks through majestic surroundings. The picturesque village of Ullapool (7 miles) lies along the banks of Loch Broom, and has a choice of great places to eat and drink, alongside a lively music scene. From the port in Ullapool you can take a ferry trip out to the secluded island of Stornoway in the Hebrides. The Summer Isles lie to the north-west, and there are some stunning, peaceful beaches along the rugged coast, including Lochinver, Achmelvich Bay and Clachtoll Beach, all within 30 miles. For nature lovers, the breathtaking Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve (5.5 miles) offers a glimpse of Scotland’s extraordinary geological past.
Entering this welcoming property, the spacious hallway leads you through into a characterful lounge with ample seating, a Smart TV and gorgeous scenery. Exploring further, the stylishly arranged dining room has a large window and sliding doors to capture the fantastic views, alongside a central table perfect for enjoying a family meal together. The beautifully organised country-style kitchen has plenty of equipment and workspace. On the ground floor there’s also a utility room, WC and the first of the property’s three delightful bedrooms: a charming king-size room with its own en-suite shower room. Moving upstairs you will find the two remaining bedrooms: a lovely twin room and another king-size room. These two share a refreshing bathroom. All the bedrooms enjoy glorious views of the magical surrounding landscape.
Stepping outside, the enclosed garden has a seating area to the front of the cottage, providing a fabulous spot for sitting out and taking in the magnificent surrounding scenery. Private parking is available for four cars.
