Netherbury epitomizes the quintessential Dorset village, nestled a few miles inland from West Bay and the magnificent Jurassic coastline. Surrounded by rolling hills, this picturesque spot has narrow lanes adorned with honey-coloured cottages and rose-filled gardens, all clustered around a 12th-century church. Just a mile away in Waytown, a local pub awaits, while an award-winning winery lies on the village's outskirts and offers tours and tasting. Nearby Beaminster (1.4 miles) has plenty of local amenities and is a haven for foodies, with some great eateries to chose from. Within 10 miles you can visit eclectic Bridport, pretty Symondsbury, Burton Bradstock, Eype and the ever-popular Lyme Regis, which are all surrounded by a network of walking and cycling routes.


From the lane, take the steps up to the entrance door, which leads into a small vestibule before you enter the lounge. This inviting space has two comfortable sofas to sink into, a Smart TV and a wood burner, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day spent exploring. Carry on through into the dining room, which has French doors leading into the garden and space to dine in comfort together. Just next door is the galley style kitchen, and the separate WC leads off from this room. Heading back into the lounge you’ll find the staircase rising to the first floor. You can choose between the three pretty bedrooms, a super-king-size, a double, and the twin room which is best suited to children due to the low-level beds (3ft width and standard length). Completing the accommodation is a family bathroom.


To the rear of the cottage is a charming garden with a patio and furniture, ideal for dining al fresco or enjoying a sundowner. This split-level space also has steps up to a lawned area, perfect for a picnic.
