This stunning family retreat is nestled away in the countryside with far reaching views and is a great bolthole to explore nearby attractions. With a local pub 0.5 miles away, a farm shop with fresh produce 0.9 miles away you’ll find everything you’ll need on your doorstep. Perfectly situated to explore the English Riviera or tackle the stunning rural walks of Dartmoor National Park. Torquay is 8 miles away boasting an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, with great nearby family days out such as Paignton Zoo (6.5 miles), Splashdown Water park (7.5 miles). Further afield is Dartmouth (14.5 miles via a car ferry) and the Cathedral City of Exeter (21.5 miles).
Enter this grand countryside house and to your left is the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table area, TV and handy utility space. Down the hall is the dining area with enough seating for all guests, and by night, you can turn this into a pool table and spend the evenings in competition with one another. Further down the hall is the downstairs lounge space with Smart TV, and tucked away in the corner is a games room with multiple board games, chess and a table football for hours of fun. Next to the stairs is a downstairs WC. Upstairs on your right is a second lounge area with a beautiful wood burner and countryside views with doors to the balcony. Down the hall on your right is the first double bedroom, continue further to a twin room and at the end of the hall is the family bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC. To the left of the hall is another double room, and the final bedroom is the master suite king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom boasting a beautiful free-standing bath, large walk-in shower and WC. All rooms offer wonderful views of the garden or front of house.
Outside you’re treated to far reaching countryside views from the decked balcony. The large garden encloses the property on three sides, and there are many options for eating and enjoying a drink alfresco style including a swing seat. You’ll able to find sunny or shaded spots throughout the day to relax, or if you’re feeling energetic there’s plenty of lawn space for garden games and a table tennis. For the cooler evenings, there is a gas firepit on the decked balcony giving you a warm glow in the fresh evening air.
