Explore the rock pools, observing the seabirds as they swoop along the shore or take a picnic and simply relax and paddle. Pull on your wet suit and try one of the water sports found on offer at Beadnell beach, from wind and kite surfing to body boarding. The village boasts two great pubs serving meals; one is beach side with its own microbrewery. You can find a wide selection of independent shops and restaurants in nearby Seahouses and Bamburgh and you can play a round of golf at Dunstanburgh Castle’s scenic golf club.


Approaching the property via the driveway, you will notice your single-storey cottage lies nestled in the sand dunes that stretch as far as you can see. The open-plan living space has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large windows to give the rooms a bright and spacious feel. Settle into one of the leather sofas and enjoy views of the shared garden area from your patio doors or watch some TV on the smart TV/DVD or listen to some music on the iPod docking station. The open-plan space ensures that even if you are preparing your meal you can still chat with family or friends. The stylish kitchen has a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer ensure your stay feels like a home from home. The dining table seats six so you can sit together at mealtimes. Follow the hallway to find the three tastefully furnished bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room with WC There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom which share the contemporary bathroom with a bath and separate shower and WC.


Step through the patio doors onto the raised decking area where garden furniture is provided for you to enjoy an al-fresco lunch with your friends or savour the last of the sunshine over an early evening drink. Younger guests can burn off any last energy in the large outdoor shared play area, with swings, slides, see-saws and a climbing frame. Parking for two cars is next to the cottage while ample additional parking spaces are available close by.
