Nestled within 1.5 acres of mature lawned gardens on the outskirts of the historic village of Bodham, this stunning detached property offers a wonderful base for a family reunion or time away with friends. Sleeping 12 guests across six bedrooms and welcoming up to four beloved pups, this spacious home has plenty to keep guests of all ages entertained. Unwind in the library and lounges, play in the music and games room, or challenge your travelling companions to a match on the full-sized tennis court.
Beautifully renovated to a high standard throughout, this spacious, two-storey property offers abundant country house charm. The ground floor is expansive, with a spacious drawing room with far-reaching country views, plus a second lounge/library, perfect for curling up with a book after an exhilarating country walk. Stay entertained in bad weather in the music and games room, which features an upright piano and a variety of board games for all ages. Or practise your serve on the tennis court during the summer months, while the kids and dogs play in the garden. The country-style kitchen is well equipped for preparing delicious dinners, and there’s a choice of dining options from an outdoor table in the garden, to a formal dining room – perfect for those celebratory meals. Six spacious bedrooms ensure everybody gets a good night’s sleep with some rooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements to accommodate different groups of people. Two bathrooms plus a separate WC and utility room take care of all practical matters.
Two welcoming country pubs offer food a mile down the road, with more options available in the Georgian town of Holt (4.5 miles), which also features independent boutiques, antiques shops and galleries. The area has a multitude of wonderful walking options, including Sheringham Park (2 miles) and Holt Country Park (4.5), while the beaches of Weybourne, Sheringham, Salthouse and Cromer are all within 7.5 miles.
