Tucked away in Haverigg on the edge of the Lake District National Park, this peaceful corner of Cumbria is perfect for those who love the great outdoors but prefer to dodge the crowds. Just 300 metres away, Haverigg’s wide sandy beach is ideal for family days out, with a nature reserve to wander, play areas for the kids, and dunes that are perfect for exploring or enjoying a picnic. A short 5-mile drive takes you to Black Combe, where the climb is steep but the views from the top are unforgettable. Catch it on a clear day and you can see as far as the Isle of Man. If you fancy exploring the Lakes, the stunning shores of Coniston Water are only 20 miles away. Adrenaline enthusiasts will be well served in the area too, with paddleboarding, water skiing, or even dog sledging for something truly different.
Enter the porch and into the light-flooded living room, where you'll be greeted with a sweet coastal theme, deep sofas and a Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is well-appointed with a timeless style and ample appliances for cooking up delicious dishes. The central wooden dining table seats four and can be used for game nights and catching up with loved ones. Finishing this floor is the family-friendly bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. To the side of the kitchen/diner are the stairs, which lead to a hallway with two desirable bedrooms; one king-size and one bunk bedroom. Both bedrooms boast pretty linens and an underlying nautical theme.
