The inviting holiday home is set in the picturesque village of Chedgrave, on the edge of the Broads National Park. Enjoy romantic, secluded strolls from your front door, along the River Chet or following the long-distance Wherryman’s Way. Just 1 mile away is the quaint market town of Loddon, where you’ll find a great range of local shops and cosy pubs for refuelling after a long walk.
The journey to the property – which is set on a livestock farm - takes you through the beautiful landscaped parkland of a private school. Once inside, discover a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner decorated in calming tones with homely touches throughout. Whip up tasty meals for two in the sleek kitchen area, to enjoy together at the sweet dining table. After dinner, cuddle up on the sofa to watch a film on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, retire to the cosy double bedroom for a good rest. A stylish bathroom rounds off this fantastic holiday home. Patio doors lead from the living area to the outdoor space to the rear. Here, you’ll find a large, enclosed private courtyard with furniture for al fresco dining. The front courtyard shares an entrance with the neighbouring property, and there’s also a large, shared lawn around the holiday cottages. The property also benefits from 2 parking spaces.
The property is perfectly placed for exploring the Southern Broads. For water sports enthusiasts, a visit to Oulton Broad (19 miles) is a must, with its regular powerboat racing, sailing, and boat trips. From here, a seasonal water taxi takes you to the coastal town of Lowestoft, where you can picnic on the beach and wander around the stunning seafront gardens. The bustling market town of Beccles is just 10 miles away, and boasts a fantastic array of shops and waterside eateries.
