Have a fabulous stay this gorgeous cottage with a pretty garden in the Suffolk coastal town of Aldeburgh. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming pets, it has two bedrooms and a beautifully finished interior, which includes a wood burner. The cottage is 0.5 miles from the seafront and about the same distance from the lively heart of the town, with its many independent shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The property is ideal for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast or heading inland to beautiful countryside.
Let yourselves in to receive a bright, warm welcome in accommodation that still retains its character yet offers modern-day comfort. Unwind in the lounge, where there is a TV and DVD, plus a selection of books and games. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days. Head through the kitchen, which opens on to the garden, to prepare tasty snacks and meals for your party to enjoy at the table in the dining room or outside. There is also a family bathroom downstairs. When eyelids begin to droop, climb the stairs to lay your head in either the double or the twin bedroom. Make the most of the delightful garden here, watching the children carefully by the pond and lighting the fire pit in the evening to enable you to stay out longer. Plan trips out to Snape Maltings, 5.5 miles away, where you can browse in the many shops, choose between eateries and book to see a concert in the world-famous hall. You can also take boat trips out along the river from here. Have a day out to the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo, 14.5 miles away, where you can experience the unique, historic site that was once an Anglo-Saxon royal burial ground.
