Situated in the Blackmore Vale, close to the chalk hills of Cranborne Chase, the picturesque village of Fontmell Magna is a haven for keen outdoor explorers, home to some lovely scenic walks and idyllic country lanes perfect for walkers and cyclists alike. Steeped in Saxon history, with magnificent views over Thomas Hardy’s Blackmore Vale, the market town of Shaftesbury, 5 miles away, offers a wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants which showcase some of this area’s best local produce. History buffs can visit the elegant 17th-century Italian-inspired country mansion, whilst nature lovers can explore acres of parkland and formal gardens at the National Trust’s Kingston Lacy, 15 miles away.
Featuring charming country cottage-style décor, enter into the delightful, bright and spacious kitchen/diner that welcomes you into this rural retreat is equipped with everything budding chefs need to get creative.
