Escape to this spacious detached house with accommodation spread over three floors, and magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Offering four bedrooms, it’s the ideal getaway for families or groups of friends. There is so much to see and do nearby: head off for a day of adrenaline-fuelled fun at Rock and Rapid Adventures (4.5 miles) to try your hand at kayaking, climbing or abseiling. Alternatively, make a beeline for the wonderful Quince Honey Farm (3.5 miles) or head to Exmoor Zoo (16 miles). There are plenty of exhilarating walks to discover, whether you’re looking for a moorland ramble or something more coastal. The ancient Tarr Steps (19 miles) is well worth a visit. The twin coastal towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, home to the Valley of Rocks and a cliffside funicular railway, are within 25 miles, and make a great day out.
Head inside the property and you’ll find a handy WC in the hallway. The split-level accommodation has to your left a kitchen/diner with everything you need to cook up a sumptuous meal for everyone, and down a level is a large farmhouse table where you can enjoy memorable mealtimes. On the right is a spacious open-plan lounge that boasts ample seating, a warming wood burner and Smart TV; on the lower level are comfy sofas and views out over the garden to the countryside beyond. Moving back into the hallway, a staircase leads up to three bedrooms on the first floor – two double rooms and a twin zip-and-link (that can be made into a super-king-size on request). This floor also has the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Up on the top floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
The fully stock fenced garden lends itself to al fresco dinners on the patio and games on the lawn, and children can enjoy the swings. Alternatively, just drink in the wonderful views and as night falls, stargaze under the clear dark sky. The garden features a BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is ample parking for up to five cars.
