Head to Sherwood Pines (13.5 miles) for a brilliant walk through the woods, along with Sherwood Forest (17.5 miles) and The Major Oak (17.5 miles) and a variety of enchanting trails. The picturesque grounds of Rufford Abbey (10 miles) have peaceful gardens that make you want to stay all afternoon, as well as a kids' play area and a stunning lake. After soaking in the many fabulous sites, you'll find the local butcher's shop just 3 miles from the cottage, where you can purchase local produce to sizzle on the BBQ in your beautiful gardens.
