The traditional stone cottage offers an exceptional base for multigenerational groups of up to 12 guests, complete with ample space to relax both indoors and out and plenty of on-site facilities that’ll keep kids (and big kids at heart) happy. Along with swimming, tennis, football and plenty of other games available to get stuck into on your doorstep, the property is also within easy reach of so many appealing Yorkshire and Lancashire attractions, an excellent choice for those eager to explore, hike and bike around.
Instantly homely, this two-storey property presents a calming, neutral décor with soft accents and contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout. Step into the beam-studded kitchen/diner, a magnificent place for preparing dishes and sitting down to celebratory meals. When mealtimes are up, continue through to the lovely lounge to light up the wood burner whilst children play next door in the snug. The first of six bedrooms, a delightful double, is also on the ground floor with an en-suite by its side. Two further bedrooms on the first floor also benefit from en-suite bathrooms, and the three remaining bedrooms are served by a modern family bathroom.
Having spent time basking in your garden or utilising the on-site facilities, plan an adventure and prepare to discover the surrounding area. Stay close and explore Gisburn Forest and the Stocks Reservoir (5.5 miles) or venture towards the village of Sawley and take a walk along the River Ribble (6 miles).
