Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Lage
Our stay was good, but there were a few things we weren’t impressed about. Positively, the apartment was clean, check-in was a breeze, in-unit laundry was a huge plus (laundry detergent provided!), and the location was perfect- less than a block from a bus stop and a quick 20 minute ride to downtown Sydney. On the other hand, one of the first things we noticed was how unkempt the pool was- full of leaves, dirty, and the pool net appeared to have not been used in months. The listing photo is completely inaccurate. We were super disappointed! The AC in the unit worked great for the living room, but the bedroom stayed hot all 4 nights we were there. The tower fan helped a bit, but not much. We had to contact the host once about an issue, and never heard a word back. Quite frustrated about that. The kitchen needed some updates- cracks in the old vinyl countertop and the provided dish towels left black fuzz all over our hands and dishes. There were no face towels provided, and only one hand towel for the bathroom. Lastly, the room with the toilet was smelly- we think it was from the P-trap of the sink in there. Overall, the stay was acceptable for what we needed, but I don’t think we would book this place again.
