The Neighborhood:

Union Street has recently been upgraded into a semi pedestrianised, one way street, making it unusually calm and peaceful for such a central location. Parking options are excellent, with residents bays available through temporary permits, as well as metered parking. Its position on the edge of Zones A and B means you can often enjoy free on street parking in Zone B after 5 pm and from Friday through to Monday morning.



The street is close to the top of the main city tram line running along Leith Walk towards Edinburgh Docks and Edinburgh International Airport. The area offers a wide range of supermarkets, bookshops, cafes, restaurants, artisan bakeries, and specialist coffee shops, along with a choice of health and wellbeing venues. The Cathedral, the National Portrait Gallery, and the designer shops of George Street and Queen Street are only minutes from the property. Contemporary cultural venues at the Omni Centre, including the cinema, clubs, leisure centre with swimming pool, galleries, and bistros, are also close by.
