Step outside and you’ll find yourself just moments from the York Minster, the Shambles, and the Clifford’s Tower – all must-see landmarks that make York one of the UK’s most beautiful medieval cities.
Being in such a central spot means you’re surrounded by a fantastic choice of cafés, restaurants, traditional pubs, and boutique shops, all within walking distance.

Thanks to our central location on Spurriergate, most of York’s main attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away, including York Minster, the Shambles, Clifford’s Tower, and the city walls.

• By train: York Railway Station is around a 10–12 minute walk, with direct links to London, Leeds, Edinburgh, and Manchester.
