No.2 Coastguards, Seaside Cottage Steps from Iconic Lulworth Cove.
Our latest edition to the Cottage Collection, No.2 Coastguard Cottages sleeps eight people across four spacious bedrooms – two with king-size beds, one with a super king and one with two single beds. One of our larger holiday cottages and with the opportunity book adjacent cottages, No.2 offers the ideal setting for spending time with family and friends.
We provide goose down and microfibre pillows, luxuriously crisp white Beaumont & Brown linen, fluffy white towels and a comfortable cotton robe for each guest.
Guests can enjoy a bright open plan sitting-dining area, designed for comfort and conversation, centred around a feature fireplace. French doors open onto the front terrace area, offering wonderful views over Lulworth Cove. To the rear, guests can enjoy a private garden, with terrace, lawn and plentiful seating to enjoy outdoor dining and relaxation.
The modern kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped and includes a large oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer.
No.2 is one of our pet free holiday cottages.
On the ground floor you’ll find a spacious bathroom featuring a bath and overhead shower. The well-appointed first floor bathroom comprises a walk-in shower. Each bathroom includes our Lulworth body wash, hand soap and shampoo.
Directly outside No.2 is allocated, off-road parking for two vehicles in a privately accessed, gated driveway. Complimentary parking across the Lulworth Estate is included in your stay upon receipt of your car registration number, allowing you unlimited access to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle Park. For day trips further afield, there is a bus stop within West Lulworth village, with links to Poole, Weymouth and Swanage.
In front of the Coastguard Cottages is a large, grassed area ideal for picnics and exercise, from which leads paths to Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole.
The pedestrianised street to the left of the parking area leads through the village and its many restaurants, cafes, gift shops, The Doll’s House Confectionary Shop and ice cream kiosks, down to Lulworth Cove itself. At certain points of the day, you may have the beach entirely to yourselves!
We have carefully curated a fantastic welcome folder full of information about the cottage, Lulworth and the local area. If you want to know more, our experienced holiday cottage team are more than happy to provide recommendations for a memorable dinner, or where to pick up the best local produce. We hope you will enjoy a welcome basket of delicious locally produced bread, eggs, milk, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee and sugar.
