The Space:

Situated in the peaceful setting of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park, Field View Lodge offers a luxurious countryside escape where modern comfort meets natural beauty. This elegant two bedroom, two bathroom lodge sleeps up to four guests and is perfect for couples, small families, or friends seeking relaxation in style.



The open plan living space is bright and contemporary, featuring calming neutral tones, soft furnishings, and plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for a self catered stay, while the dining area provides the perfect spot for relaxed meals or morning coffee. The lounge area offers plush seating, a Smart TV, and patio doors that open directly onto the private decking area.



Outside, you will find your own tranquil retreat complete with outdoor seating, garden views, and a luxurious hot tub. Whether you are unwinding under the stars or enjoying a quiet afternoon surrounded by nature, it is the perfect place to relax and reset.



The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and en suite shower room, while the second bedroom offers twin beds ideal for children or friends. A second bathroom adds extra convenience, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests.



Field View Lodge is also pet friendly, allowing your four legged companions to join you on your countryside getaway. With scenic walking trails, golf, and tranquil lakes on your doorstep, it is the ideal base for exploring or simply soaking in the calm of the park.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Getting Around:

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is ideally located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, offering easy access by road, rail, or bus, while being just a short drive from the historic city of York. The park sits just off the A1079, around two miles from the charming market town of Pocklington and approximately thirteen miles east of York city centre. Guests travelling from the north or south can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, with free on-site parking available, adding convenience and flexibility when exploring the local area.



For those arriving by train, York Railway Station is the nearest mainline hub, offering frequent direct services from major cities including London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From the station, the park is around a 25–30 minute drive, with taxis and car hire readily available. Regular bus services also operate between York and Pocklington via East Yorkshire Buses, and from Pocklington it’s just a short five-minute taxi ride or a pleasant countryside walk to the park.



Locally, guests will find a range of shops, cafés, and restaurants in nearby Pocklington, along with beautiful open spaces like Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve, perfect for walking and cycling. The city of York is easily reachable for day trips, offering world-famous attractions such as York Minster, The Shambles, and Clifford’s Tower.
