The Space:

Welcome to Tarn Lodge, a calming and beautifully presented two-bedroom retreat perfect for couples, small families or friends looking to unwind. With one inviting double bedroom and a cosy twin room, this lodge comfortably sleeps up to four guests. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, while an additional modern bathroom ensures convenience and comfort during your stay.



Inside, the lodge feels bright, warm and thoughtfully styled, with soft furnishings, natural tones and comfortable seating that create an immediate sense of ease.



The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is ideal for slow mornings and relaxed evenings — whether you're sharing meals, planning adventures, or simply enjoying time together. Large windows let natural light fill the space, and the interiors strike the perfect balance between contemporary touches and homely comfort.



Step outside onto the full wrap-around decking, where you can enjoy peaceful surroundings and views across the well-kept park. Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Located in a peaceful rural setting yet close to York, Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is easy to reach and perfectly situated for exploring Yorkshire. The park lies just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and approximately a half-hour drive from York city centre. Guests travelling from further afield can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, both providing quick and direct routes through the region. Every lodge benefits from on-site parking, allowing guests to travel freely and explore the surrounding countryside at their own pace.



For those using public transport, York Railway Station offers fast and frequent services from London, Leeds, and Manchester, while local bus routes connect York and Pocklington several times a day. From Pocklington, it’s just a short taxi ride to the park.



Within easy reach, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay — from local shops and dining in Pocklington to walking trails at Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve.
