In the vibrant heart of Como, just outside the walls leading to the historic center, we offer three apartments, with the option of having two parking spaces available for an additional fee, subject to availability (therefore, reservation is essential).



The three apartments are as follows and can be booked either separately or all together:



Courtyard Loft:

A modern and elegant loft-style two-room apartment in the center of Como, perfectly located for getting around on foot or by car to explore the city and surroundings.

The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests. It features a double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double sofa in the living area, and a complete bathroom with a shower.



Porta Torre Loft:

The ideal choice for couples who appreciate design and modernity, as well as the warmth of a spacious and cozy home.

The bedroom is located on the mezzanine level, while the large living room—overlooking the quiet internal courtyard—includes two large sofa beds.



Como City Loft:

A place where lines and colors merge to create a harmonious blend of shapes.

This modern and elegant minimalist two-room apartment in the center of Como is the perfect starting point for your adventures. Young couples will especially enjoy its youthful atmosphere.

The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests. The double bedroom is located on the open mezzanine and is bathed in natural light. The kitchen is chef-worthy, and the comfortable double sofa adds a touch of character to the living area, which overlooks the peaceful inner courtyard—just steps from the city's vibrant life.



ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Baby beds are available for an additional fee.

Extra cleaning and linen services are available for an additional fee.

PARKING

Two parking spaces are available in the courtyard for the three apartments, for a fee—so advance reservation is important.

Alternatively, you can park on nearby Viale Lecco within the blue lines. Paid hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You can pay at the meter and display the ticket, or use the “EasyPark” app.

There are also paid garages in the city: "VALDUCE" in Viale Lecco, "JASCA" in Piazza Volta, "CENTRO LAGO" with entrance on Via Recchi, and "TRIBUNALE" in Via Auguadri.





HIGHLIGHTS & HOME TRUTHS

>Very central location in the historical city center a 10 minute walk from the lake.

>The apartment is in the courtyard, so it is very quiet.

>A few days a week (Tue, Thurs, Sat), there is an open-air market on the street outside which can be crowded and noisy (but you will not hear it in the apartment).



NEIGHBORHOOD

Everything is a walking distance away: bars, shops, restaurants, sightseeing objects, and Como lake. The nearby farmer's market (Mercato coperto) sells fresh produce (seasonal vegetables, cheese, meat, fish, etc.) that the guests can use to prepare delicious meals in the equipped kitchen.



GETTING AROUND

From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago station, there is a connection to Milano Cadorna.

In the city of Como and nearby towns, ASF Autolinee buses are in operation. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or in designated places (the main bus station in Piazza Matteotti, bars, and tobacco stores). Taxis are also available. However, the historical center, the main sightseeing objects, and the lake are a walking distance away from the property.

From the pier in central Como, a local ferry service will take you to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside towns. Please note – if traveling in high season, we advise you to be patient with long waiting lines at the ticket office. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website.

The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.

TIPS

>We advise you to take a day to visit the marvelous little towns around the lake. Como city is the urban center of the area, but the little towns are gems with glorious lakeside villas.

>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.

>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!

>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is an easy-to-follow trail that connects the lakeside towns from Colonno to Griante and doesn't require too much walking uphill. A bus will take you to the starting point in Colonno.

>Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes.

>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.

>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. In Como city, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is not recommended and is mostly forbidden. There are beaches in other lakeside towns. Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.

>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Please note that all guests are required to pay a city tax of 3€ per night per person.

According to Italian laws, every guest's personal ID will be requested before check-in. In order to speed up the check-in process, we kindly ask all guests to fill out the online check-in form which is sent via e-mail along with the booking confirmation.

In this property, it is mandatory to separate the garbage. Recycling laws are strict in Italy.
