Tastefully renovated 1 bedroom apartment in Fort Augustus
The apartment is in an excellent central position within the village, overlooking the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way, with views of the famous Loch Ness which is within a short stroll. Shops, a Post office, a Chemist, Restaurants, Pubs, Cafes and Boat Trips on Loch Ness are a mere five minutes walk away.
Bank House apartment is a traditional Victorian stone property built in 1904. The bank operated within the village for locals and businesses alike twice a week until it finally closed in October 2023 when it was renovated into this beautiful 1 bedroom apartment. There is ample parking on the road outside the property.
The entrance has retained the stunning original floor tiling and the original bank vault is opposite the front door as a fantastic feature as soon as you walk through the door. There is a toilet room straight ahead behind the vault.

The lounge is to the left of the entranceway with beautiful original features including the original fireplace and the turret area. The lounge has been tastefully decorated with a comfortable sofa and matching chair, as well as a dining table for mealtimes.
Leaving the lounge, you will head down a corridor with the fully equipped kitchen on your left and the en-suite king-size bedroom on your right.
The kitchen has everything that you would need during your self-catering stay, including an integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge (with small freezer compartment), electric oven, hob and microwave.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, as well as the other side of the original vault as a key feature in this spacious room. There is also a modern en-suite shower room adjacent to the bedroom.
