Ruthie Cottage, Bacton, Norfolk

Ruthie Cottage is a very pretty detached flint cottage, full of character in the rural seaside village of Bacton, within walking distance of the village shop and beautiful beach. A fun family house with triple bunk bed for the children, a hot and cold outdoor shower for the dog, and lots of comfortable sophisticated touches for the adults.

On entering Ruthie Cottage you are welcomed into the traditional shaker style kitchen with marble worktops, a stone tiled floor, island unit and kitchen table. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a Range oven and five gas burner, Butler sink, full height integrated fridge freezer and providing plenty of space for food preparation and chatting. Beyond the kitchen is a dining room with a dining table, comfortably seating eight for family gatherings.There's also a handy utility room with further storage, butler sink and further fan oven. The cosy sitting room has a homely wood burning stove, the perfect spot to curl up with a book and take time to relax or watch a film on the television. An additional ground floor bedroom/snug allows people to spread out, with a convenient shower room with WC also in this area. Beyond the sitting room is a downstairs bedroom, with a double Futon and smart television, which can be made up as a bed, with its own en-suite shower room and French doors leading out to the garden. Upstairs three bedrooms include the master en-suite with king-size bed, a further king-size bedroom and fun triple bunk bed for the children. The modern family bathroom is newly fitted with a bath and a shower over.
Outside, the garden is part paved and laid to lawn, with raised flower beds and outdoor seating for morning coffee or an evening drinks, with the bonus of a n outside hot and cold dog shower for muddy paws (or sandy feet!).

Parking is in front of the garage on the gravel drive to the side of Ruthie Cottage. There is further free roadside parking nearby if required. Access into the garden is either through the French doors from the cottage or through a side gate from the parking area. Venture out on foot and you will soon find the quiet sandy beach at Bacton and the handy village stores. Bacton is just a short drive from The Broads National Park for boating and wildlife activities, and Cromer is a popular seaside resort for all ages and interests.
