This area has been in my husband (John Angus's) family for over 100 years. It has bee farmed since then. The hamlet, called Totarder has 4 house, two ( including us) on one side a a small river and two on the opposite side. I have included a small video of the area for guests to visualise what they will have as their view.
The croft is setin a green glen (valley), hills on either side, and a loch at the foot. It's so peaceful, off the beaten track, but only by 1 mile. There are golden eagles and sea eagles to be seen flying overhead, sheep, cows, occasionally otters, herons and an abundance of other birds . We have 6 working collie sheepdogs that you may also see doing their thing. ( they are not usually loose though- so if you don't like dogs, that us not a problem 😀 ) We love the peace and so do our guests.
