Sliding doors lead to a private balcony, where morning coffee is best enjoyed to the soft splash of oars and seasonal sightings of the Rivermaid ferry gliding between Kingsbridge and Salcombe.
A second balcony, off the top-floor sitting room, frames a postcard-perfect sweep of the Kingsbridge estuary and devon countryside beyond. Here, a chilled glass of wine and the sunset's slow descent are the only agenda you'll need after your busy day exploring this beautiful Devon coastline.
