This lovely family home has just been listed with us, and will be a real treat for your visit to York. Located just off the bottom of Micklegate, close to the centre of York, on the same cobbled lane as one of our favourite local pubs. The upshot is that you have loads of light flooding into the house with views of the trees in the churchyard opposite, and a sense of quite seclusion despite the central location.
Saint Martins Lane was built in the 18th century and as you’d expect from that period the house is full of character. It has the stunning original beautiful winding spindled staircase running up through the house, period features , huge sash windows and light filled rooms.
No parties - hen or stag dos.
Please tidy up the property on departure, place all rubbish in the bin bags provided and all dirty dishes in the dishwasher
