Step inside and you’ll find a thoughtfully designed open-plan space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a king-size bed, a neat dining area, and a compact but well-equipped kitchenette with a hob, kettle, microwave, utensils, pots and pans, and all the little basics to help you feel at home.

Open-plan storage, including a handy cupboard and cubes for your bits and bobs (plus a hairdryer), keeps the space feeling light and clutter-free.

The modern bathroom features a generous rainfall shower, and we’ve stocked it with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap—so you can travel light.

Outside, your own private garden is ready and waiting. Whether it’s a lazy soak in the hot tub, breakfast in the fresh air, or a glass of wine under the stars, this little suntrap is made for unwinding.

There's even private parking for one car right outside the gate, making your stay easy from the moment you arrive.

Getting to the Lake: Head south from the cottage along the A591. It's approximately a 10-minute drive to reach the lake's shores where you can find various access points for different activities.

Local Amenities: The cottage is close to local shops, cafes, and restaurants. Bowness-on-Windermere, a bustling town with plenty of attractions and dining options, is also nearby.

Public Transport: If you prefer not to drive, there are regular bus services that can take you to key locations around the Lake District, including Windermere and Ambleside.

For those travelling further, Windermere station is a 10 minute car drive away and Oxenholme Lake District railway station is about 30 minutes away by car. From here, you can catch direct trains to London, Glasgow, Manchester, and more. If you're arriving by train, you can hop on a local bus or take a taxi to get to the property.
