We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the open living space, the shaded yard, the games, and that you found the beds comfortable. The stove has one cracked burner - We removed the control knob so guests would not use it. A brand-new replacement stove is awaiting delivery, All of the other appliances have been replaced within the past two years. The moss growing in the two feet of gutter above our deck is intentional. We chose to eliminate the downspout that previously discharged in the middle of the deck. The moss acts as a natural absorbent and filtration system, allowing water to drain without having a downspout that created a drainage issue on the deck. Regarding the backyard, our maintenance team completed lawn care and inspected the property the day before your arrival. They did not observe any pet waste, so we're unsure where that may have originated, but we certainly appreciate you bringing it to our attention. The children's playhouse stairs were recently removed to be repaired. I will update the listing until it is fixed. As for the family photos, this is a family's vacation home that we are fortunate to share with others. Many guests enjoy the welcoming, lived-in feel, although we understand that personal preferences differ. Thank you again for your feedback. We continually invest in maintaining and improving our home.
