Apartment Luciana - Drei Schlafzimmer Villa, Schläft 6
Apartment Luciana is a stunning third and fourth storey three-bedroom apartment accommodating up to six guests in luxurious surroundings. Situated near to the Grand Canal in San Marco and featuring incredible views of some of the city’s most famous and beautiful landmarks, Apartment Luciana offers guests a relaxing and memorable stay in one of Europe’s most iconic destinations and is packed with high-end amenities and dazzling decorative touches. The apartment’s living space is modern and stylish, featuring a calming colour palette of soft neutrals with teal and Tiffany blue accents. Light and fresh, with home comforts like TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning, the apartment’s lounge area is the ideal spot to relax with loved ones and enjoy the cosy ambience of your surroundings.
Adjacent to the living room is a small dining area, with ample space for enjoying family meals, and there is a modern and well-equipped kitchen that features high-end Miele appliances, and a dappled grey decor with marble work surfaces for food preparation. Two of Apartment Luciana’s spacious and elegant bedrooms are located on this floor - a master bedroom featuring a sumptuous double bed and damask prints, and an equally beautiful twin room. Guests staying in these rooms share a contemporary-style bathroom, bedecked in opulent Italian mosaics and featuring both a bathtub and shower facilities.
Ascending the stairs to the fourth floor, you’ll discover the apartment’s charming studio, which doubles as another bedroom. Bursting with character, this beautiful space has gorgeous, beamed ceilings, a comfortable double bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower; decorated to the same high standard as the apartment’s shared bathroom. From the studio bedroom guests can access Apartment Luciana’s piece de resistance - a furnished Atlanta roof terrace; a magical place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or pre-dinner drink as you look out over the terracotta roofs of the city and soak up the glorious Venetian atmosphere.

Location:
Apartment Luciana enjoys a privileged location, within easy walking distance of the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art, the delightful outdoor cafes of Campo Santo Stefano, wine shops, delicatessens, and supermarkets. Antique shops and galleries are plentiful in this part of Venice, and the Grand Canal is right on your doorstep, so be sure to enjoy a gondola ride or two during your stay.
San Marco (St. Mark’s) square is a popular destination, with the basilica being a particularly beautiful attraction that is well worth a visit. Tours of the church interior are free of charge, but it is worth knowing that queues to enter this popular attraction can exceed 45 minutes at peak times, so Oliver recommends showing up early!
For something a little different during your stay, why not head to the Campo San Maurizio antique market, a popular attraction established in 1970 and which takes place over five weekends throughout the year. Exhibitors come here from all over Italy, selling goods and curiosities from the past, including books, furs, pipes, vintage shoes and postcards, chandeliers, pocket watches, jewellery and much more.
No trip to Venice would be complete without taking in some of the city’s iconic historical sights, and the apartment is perfectly situated for visiting galleries, museums and opera houses.
For an afternoon of people-watching, refreshments and relaxation, you couldn’t be in a better place, as there are several beautiful little cafes in the piazza, all serving excellent coffee and delicious pastries - often served with a side order of live music. Oliver recommends visiting Caffe Florian while you are here, which opened its doors in 1720 and is thought to be the oldest cafe in Europe. Enjoying an authentic Italian coffee in a 300-year-old cafe while overlooking a 1000-year-old church is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
It’s hard to spend time in St. Mark’s Square without noticing the impressive St. Mark’s Clocktower, with its stunning blue face and gold zodiac symbols. To truly appreciate this 500-year-old masterpiece, we highly recommend booking a guided tour to enjoy the inside of this fascinating building.
