Alternatively, if you’re craving a taste of the island; you may choose to hop on the 73 which will take you to Valletta, the capital of Malta. From there, you can catch the 49 which will drive you into Mellieha and down to Għadira bay.
Taking a cab is faster, but somewhat pricier option, with standard fares. Most used taxi companies include ; e-cabs, Bolt and Uber.
You can also get to Mellieħa Malta by private car (if you've hired one from the airport or online). This is the best option for those wishing to travel less in the heat.
