In the heart of Lekeitioâs Old Town, on the emblematic pedestrian- Beheko Kalea nÂș 5, you'll find this charming traditional house without elevator. A perfect opportunity to experience life in a coastal village.
From the street-level entrance, an interior staircase leads to a space that spans the entire four-story building, carefully designed to make the most of every corner with both functionality and style. The flowing layout, natural light from the balcony, and contemporary furniture create a warm and practical atmosphere. The visible wood in the interiors retains the traditional look while adding warmth to the home.
This home occupies the entire building, accessible directly from the street, and is distributed across four floors connected by stairs: ground floor, two upper levels, and an attic. It features three bedroomsâtwo with double beds and one with a futon bedâperfect for resting after a day by the sea or in the mountains. There are two full bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, designed for maximum comfort and privacy.
The kitchen is fully equipped (except for an oven) with all the necessary appliances for an independent stay: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker... It also opens onto a small outdoor balcony, perfect for enjoying breakfast in the open air or a drink at sunset.
The special layout of the house is as follows:
Ground floor: Storage and utility area, ideal for storing bikes, surfboards, strollers, or scooters... a functional space that makes the stay more comfortable. It includes a washing and drying area for wetsuits.
1st floor: A small studio with a living-bedroom furnished with collector's items, and a private bathroom with a shower. Double bed (1.60 m) with TV.
2nd floor: Living area with a decorative (non-functional) fireplace and TV; dining area for family meals; access to the wooden balcony; a compact, functional kitchen;Â
and stairs leading to the attic floor, which has two bedrooms: one with a 1.50 m bed and TV, and the other with a Japanese futon bed (1.35 m). It has both standard and Velux windows and a full bathroom with a bathtub.
Just steps away, youâll find the impressive Basilica of the Assumption of Santa MarĂa, the fishing port, and Isuntza and Karraspio beachesâideal for enjoying the Cantabrian Sea without needing to drive. In the evenings, the cobbled streets, pintxo bars, and seaside charm invite you to wander at your leisure.
