The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with TV, electric fire, and en-suite walk-in shower, a second-floor king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, a double, two doubles with TV, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom, shower room, and cloakroom. Outside, there is a rear multi-level garden with furniture, hot tub, and a tennis court, and an Annexe game room with kitchen and bathroom, plus ample off-road parking. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. The National Trust managed Gawthorpe Hall is in the nearby town of Padiham, Towneley Hall Museum and Park are close by or you may wish to explore the town’s waterways with a walk or boat trip along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The Singing Ringing Tree Panopticon is only a short drive away on the nearby moors. The market towns of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley are nearby, and Haworth which was made famous by the Bronte sisters. The award-winning Woodland Spa and Bertrams Restaurant are only 2.7 miles away where you can relax and sooth those aching muscles after walking and enjoy excellent fare. The Kettledrum Inn Cliviger and the Hare and Hounds at Briercliffe are good eating places nearby but it is always best to book before to avoid disappointment.
