El Taller del Nogal is a country house located in Roblelacasa, a small hamlet in the heart of the Sierra Norte Natural Park — surrounded by nature, yet less than 120 km from Madrid. Built from the characteristic slate stone of the Pueblos Negros architectural style, but offering all the comforts of a modern home, the house is the ideal base camp for a family getaway in one of the most well-preserved natural areas in Europe.
Upon entering, you are welcomed by a courtyard shaded by a large walnut tree, featuring a table with seating for four people and a stone barbecue. Inside, a small entrance hall serves as a foyer, leading to a bathroom and the upper floor.
On the ground floor, you will find:
- On the older side of the house, the kitchen and a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace
- On the newer side, the main living area includes a spacious lounge with speckled linen sofas, a pellet stove, a home cinema, and a large oak dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, as well as a fully restored adobe oven
The upper floor houses four bedrooms - two with double beds, one with a triple bunk bed, and a playroom with a single bed and a pull-out bed underneath. A second bathroom is also located on this floor. A hallway connects the bedrooms to a large terrace, partially covered, offering panoramic views of Pico Ocejón
You have access to the entire house, including a former carpentry workshop, a small back patio with a barbecue, a garage with an automatic wooden door, and a small loft
