In den wunderschönen Appalachen auf 50 Hektar und in der Nähe des Applacahian Wanderwegs, des Roan Mountain State Park und der Elk River Falls gelegen, bietet unser privates Cottage in Hanglage einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge. Entspannen Sie auf der Veranda und braten Sie Marshmellows, während Sie die umliegende Natur bewundern oder die Unterkunft erkunden. Ruhiges Interieur und Dekor sorgen für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Dieses Haus ist ein sehr sauberes 1-Schlafzimmer-1-Bad und perfekt für einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub, Paare und Künstler. Nächtliche Anmietung möglich. Wanderer sind immer willkommen. In der Nähe von Roan Mountain TN, Johnson City TN und 1 1/2 Autostunden von Asheville NC. In der Nähe der beliebten Skigebiete Beech und Sugar Mountain (45 Autominuten). Bequemes Queensize-Bett im Schlafzimmer. Kleiner Schlafsaal Kühlschrank, Kochfeld, Grill, Geschirr, Toaster, Waffeleisen (Mix und Sirup auch) Spülmittel und Schwämme zur Verfügung gestellt. Handtücher, Wäsche waschen, Seife und Badeprodukte zur Verfügung gestellt. TV mit DVD-Player und DVDs zur Verfügung gestellt. Saubere Bettwäsche und Decken zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kaffeemaschine, Kaffee, heißer Schokolade, Cappuccino, Tee und Mineralwasser ist vorhanden. Für die romantischen Gäste stehen gegen Aufpreis eine Flasche gekühlten Wein, Weingläser, Blumen und Erdbeeren mit Schokoladenüberzug zur Verfügung. I loved my stay! The little cottage had the softest bed ever, and two flat screen TVs! The valley in which it sits was gorgeous, and quiet except for the sounds from the friendly farm animals, who I enjoyed visiting.

Birthday get away to the mountains

The hosts are so welcoming and their farmstead of rescued animals reflects the host’s big hearts.We came to stay at their little cottage because Carvers Gap Trailhead was calling us once again. This time for a birthday adventure. The cottage sits high on a hill overlooking pastures and hills. Very beautiful location!

LOVE This Cottage!

Spent a long weekend here, and loved everything about it - the farm setting, the proximity to points of interest, the cleanliness, the decor... The cottage has everything you need, plus some extra treats like cocoa mix, etc. Yes, the cottage is on a hillside and there are stairs, but the view and the privacy make it worth the extra steps! (And you can pack lightly, as the unit has a washer+dryer.) We had an amazing time and can't wait to return!

I don’t even know where to begin! This place was absolutely wonderful! Scott & Nikki were so accommodating and hospitable. Loved being on the farm and hearing the roosters in the morning and being greeted by the cats. Very relaxing and quiet. The cottage had everything I needed and more. The only down side is that I had to leave. Exactly as described and if you don’t book this you will miss out. I can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect mountain getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was right in the middle of Boone and Asheville, and we didn’t mind the extra driving since the scenery was so beautiful. Super clean, comfortable bed, and the perfect location! Visiting the animals was a nice perk too :)

Overnight trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway

Such a beautiful stay! Everything is comfortable and cozy. Accommodations are definitely geared more for a couple wanting a romantic getaway but the isolation and comfort of the cabin fit for a couple of friends too! The ambiance around the cabin at night is intoxicating! The owners are kind and friendly and have great communication. Overall worth the trip even if you want to get away for one evening. You will want more tho!

Great Spot Off the Beaten Path

This stay was perfect for my wife and I. Great access to multiple hiking locations while still being secluded. Easy access to Roan Mountain, Appalachian Trail, and Elk River Falls trailheads. The property itself is a great experience. The cottage is just right for a two person stay, with a well appointed kitchen and a nice soft bed. The farm animals didn’t make enough noise to wake us up in the morning. Book here!

Quiet and cozy!

I always like to find a place off the beaten path to take in nature while we travel and this cottage fit that bill! It's quiet (we didn't even hear the roosters in the morning), uniquely decorated (fun and colorful, love the wood on the walls!) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (fridge, stove top, toaster, even a few necessities in the bathroom). Getting to go down the hill and visit the animals was an added perk. My husband and I would take a stroll down the hill and to the road before heading out for our activities for the day. Speaking of the hill, it's quite steep in some spots. We were able to drive up with our 4 wheel drive but like Nikki notes in the description, low lying vehicles will not make it up the hill. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

If you have a need to unwind and want a quite place to enjoy a cup of joe this is the place. Cute doesn't quite cover it if you like a little Hippie vibe. Just Heavenly

We only stayed one night but plan to definitely return when can stay longer. Directions were great and owners were very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. Cabin is exactly as described and absolutely charming. Comfortable bed. Soft sheets. Soft towels. And the animals are adorable!! We visited the store and got fresh eggs to take with us! Watched a beautiful sunset. And so many extras in cabin to enjoy! Drank coffee on porch in swing and rocking chair before we reluctantly headed back on our journey to visit relatives in the area. We would love to return when the leaves are colorful because the cabin is surrounded by mountains. A wonderful, relaxing place. Thankful owners share it.

I'm so thankful I found this special place for a personal retreat - I was looking for a peaceful place where I could rest, recenter and recharge.
