: It’s close to the beach by car Good access to Lisbon Two of the beds had poor-quality mattresses. Not enough pillows And there was only one tea towel. The washing machine was out of order and we weren’t told

It was very good. The property does however need a good bit of maintenance. The house is in a quiet area. All amenities available and functional (lack a few cleaning products though but shops are not far away...) Internet very fast and stable Fast communication with the landlord (via email) - Maintenance/upkeep of the house needs to be reviewed: strong sewage odours coming up in the bathrooms, traces of damp in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom, weeds growing everywhere, including on the paving, numerous bin bags left on the pavement preventing access to the car park inside the building (not to mention the unsightly appearance).

The house is nearby shops, restaurants and a 5 minuten drive away to the beach. The beach and sea is quite nice, but there is a lot of trash on the streets and beach. There were several things in the house which needed assistance. The oven door could not be closed, water in the shower was spraying everywhere. The garden is full of weed (we cleaned as much as possible). Two beds were broken. Kitchen utilities were missing or broken. Several window screens were broken. We already contacted the owner about the issues and they brought us the missing kitchen things which was quite nice. We hope they will maintain it after our feedback. At the moment we would not recommend somebody to rent the house. Old furniture (trash) was in the garden. What a pity that you save money for your summer vacation and then spend it for such a house. Too expensive for what you get (at least with the broken parts of the house). The communication however was very good and fast. It is also nearby lissabon and of course this is quite nice for a weekend trip.
